Questions about official Bell County criminal records usually belong with the public office that created or keeps the file. The routes below distinguish sheriff records, court files, police reports, state criminal history, and record-relief filings.

This Is Not a Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull criminal records, run official background checks, remove or correct a record, or accept expungement filings for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the right government office directly.

Need an Official Record?

Use the Bell County or Texas custodian that holds the requested record:

  • Court case files: use Bell County criminal court cases, the District Clerk for felonies, or County Clerk for Class A and B misdemeanors
  • Criminal history and personal record review: contact the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Division
  • Sheriff reports: use the Custodian of Record at 104 South Main Street, Belton, TX 76513, (254) 933-5533, or the official NextRequest portal
  • Booking and jail status: contact the Bell County Sheriff's Department at (254) 933-5400
  • Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
  • Expunction or nondisclosure: contact the proper court clerk; district filings go through the District Clerk at 1201 Huey Road, Belton, TX 76513, (254) 933-5197

Call before visiting because the research did not confirm walk-in hours. Sheriff public-information requests should be written and sent through the county's prescribed NextRequest channel.
